However, there are many benefits to be had from aromatherapy oils but you need to understand that there can be some drawbacks for use in aromatherapy although many people say there are greater benefits.
We think we need to improve ourselves and our current situation, because we’re dissatisfied (at least a little bit) with how things are. We have a drive to improve, improve.
So we strive for change — exercise more, eat better, read more, be more mindful, do more meaningful work, be more disciplined.
And yet, we struggle with change. Why is that? What’s going on?
Lately, I've become intrigued by the idea or process of "alchemy." Everyone at some point or another has probably heard about alchemy as the idea of turning metal into gold. My spiritual studies tell me alchemy is a transformation, "a change in nature, form or quality." So how to take charge of your own personal alchemy? For me, it's about changes and transformations of mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, in this article, I've outlined three of my favorite ways to approach personal alchemy on the path to wholeness and health.
Many of us have some very definite ideas about anger. We see anger as destructive and hurtful. We consider it to be an inappropriate response. We equate anger with violence. In short, we feel that anger is simply wrong, and that when we experience anger, there’s something wrong with us. Anger isn’t nice. Anger isn’t polite. And anger certainly isn’t our friend.
