One of the things that I come across so much on the Internet these days, is how people are so misinformed. They are misinformed because this is the way that it is supposed to be. What happened many ages ago is that the truth needed to be concealed, for what it might do to those that held power (if people knew what they did).
From generation to generation these false truths have been passed down, and the mainstream society has done exactly what they are supposed to do... believe them.
It’s all a tactic to place fear into people's hearts to get them to conform to a certain belief. Those beliefs are then used to control.
A Word is Just a Word
In this post I wanted to focus on just one aspect of this, better yet one word. It’s a word that has been taken out of context now for centuries, and is still used wrongly today.
I will no doubt use this statement a lot in my writing, but just because we don’t currently have the ability to measure something, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist, or that it’s not true. Wasn’t the earth once thought to be a cube, or square?
Think about what comes to mind when you hear the word occult. If you are like most people, then you may think of the word ‘Evil’ as the one word that comes to mind.
There is nothing evil about the word occult, of having knowledge of things that go against the mainstream.
In fact, occultism itself is more so the study of the inner nature of things that aren’t measurable. Studying the inner nature of things wasn’t evil the last time I checked. There are both good and bad people that practice occult arts. But, that goes with anything, for example, I know of some intolerable, judgmental, cruel hearted people that claim to be Christians.
Open Your Mind
One of my first tasks here at Naturally Sacred is to hopefully get people to be more open to everything, and not be afraid of something, just because mainstream beliefs may suggest differently.
It’s important to have an open mind, and not think that something is ‘Evil’ just because you have been taught that. In school, we were taught to be a part of a system, and if not, then it wasn’t ok to be different. It doesn’t take much of an open mind to see that maybe we were taught wrong.
Before you can accept new concepts and beliefs, you have to at least be open, and be willing to let some old ones go. If not, then at least see how they may fit in with your old beliefs.
We’re not here to convert anyone, and hopefully you will even start to see how some hidden knowledge relates to what is openly being taught.
